Casselman Clean Yard Bylaw
The Clean Yard Bylaw 2006-180 requires properties and streets to be maintained in a safe condition and kept clear of waste.

Key Points of the Bylaw
- Regulates the filling up, draining, cleaning and clearing of any grounds, yards and vacant lots.
- Prohibits the use of land for the dumping or disposal of domestic garbage or industrial waste.
- Specifies property owners’ landscaping maintenance obligations.
- Specifies conditions for keeping running refrigerators and freezers outdoors and the disposal of such appliances.
- Prohibits littering on private and Village property.
- Prohibits the storing of inoperative motor vehicles.
Penalty
A person found guilty of an offence to the bylaw is liable to a fine as provided for in the Provincial Offences Act.
