Casselman Business Licence Bylaw
The 2012-209 Business Licence Bylaw regulates businesses, trades and occupations and requires them to have a licence to operate within the Municipality of Casselman

Key points
- All businesses defined in the bylaw must apply for and obtain a licence prior to the start of operations. These include businesses; home occupations; seasonal operations; entertainment and amusement services; trades and contractors, and non-profit organizations from outside the Municipality.
- A business licence application may require inspections and approvals by the Planning Department, the Building Department, the Fire Department, the Municipal Law Enforcement Department or the Medical Health unit.
- A business licence is valid for one year and must be renewed every year.
Fees
- There is an initial $15.00 non-refundable application fee.
- Annual licence fees range from $50.00 to $300.00 depending on the type of business.

Penalties
If you are found guilty of an offence to the bylaw, you may be liable to a fine as provided for in the Provincial Offences Act.

To register a complaint with the Municipality about a perceived infraction, you must fill out a complaint form.
